visitors have all left

All of our company has now departed ~ seems very quite with them not here anymore ~ Now Lyn can sit down and have a rest as she did all the work looking after them ~ at one point during the week there were eleven of us here ~ I really enjoyed that ~

I just love the new age fathers who help with all the chores of looking after a young child ~ when Leo has his bath both mum and dad are there looking after and playing with him ~ and they give each other time for themselves ~ which I thought was lovely ~ Anna did say she wished babies came with instructions as she don't know if she is doing everything right ~ but by the look of Leo I would say she has it just perfect ~

It was Abbie's birthday yesterday ~ and Lyn went to see her to give her cards and a pressie ~

This is a short entry ~ but I have been cut off and lost the photo's twice and I really don't want to edit them all again ~

Yes I too am amazed at the role the young fathers take now days. It even makes me a little envious. Not that my Mel was a bad father, far from it. It was just that the roles were so defined in those days. Paula

Secretly I've been studying you
Ally. Yes I have! I envy and respect
your nurturing of family. To this end
I bought a book, truly, called
How To Be a Lady, published in 2001.
I haven't consumed the book yet,
but I will do so. 'Ladyship' seems to
be generally considered 'old hat' and
from previous eras. Well, I don't think
that should ever be given up or
disrespected. So, in order to be able
to spot the quality, and know what I'm
talking about, I'm studying up! My wife
is a Lady, but she isn't American, or
wasn't until a few months ago when
she became a citizen. As you may
remember I posted her photo here.

Nice photos, Ally!  Looks like you all had a great time.  I always feel such a letdown after company leaves, it is kind of like the day after Christmas, know what I mean?

Have a blessed week!~
