updates

Our resident Rabbit (Hoppity) is Lucky to be alive as Barney chased him  round the garden a few times but Luckily he hopped out of the way ~ and went missing for a few days ~ but looking out of the window this morning I see he is back eating the clover from the lawn ~

The pill that upset me I did stop taking it ~ and phoned the Doctors Surgery ~ but as my Doctor was away and would not be back until next Monday the receptionist is going to explain it all to him ~ so I may get a call from him ~

Anyway I am feeling OK and back to normal ~ and as the weather has been so nice have spent quite a lot of time in the garden ~ did go into Norwich a couple of times to visit my Sister Joy ~ and do a bit of shopping and a visit to Norwich Market Place which has had a total revamp ~ It looks very nice now but miss the old style stalls ~

I did watch most of the England football match today and was sorry they lost on Goals ~ shame Rooney got sent off ~ but you just cannot argue with a referee ~ it usually ends with being sent off ~

With all the problems we have been experiencing with AOL just lately it has been hard if not impossible to access Journals but I have done my best to comment on all that I have read ~ when someone has taken the trouble to make an entry I do like to be able to leave a comment ~ hope aol get all their problems sorted out ~

From your pictures it looks like you are going to have a good harvest.  Why is our Doctors are aways unavailable when need them them you get palmed off with someone you don't know.  Tell Barney he will have to go in training to catch Hoppity.  Take care Love Joan.

I too watched the England/Portugal
match. The part that stirred me the
most, to be candid, was the English
in the stands singing God Save the Queen.
Maybe the England team couldn't hear?
Glad the pill thing will be ironed out.
Rabbits?! Hmmmm. I played that
tune before so I'll skip it. Ha!

I just love it to see Barney looking out of the window,on his buffet, he looks  so comical.Bet he's saying to himself, where are you? "You best be much quicker next time Hoppity I don't like being beat LOL !! Wow!! Just like Rooney Haa!!what a crop you have there Ally, the grapes look wonderful, and everything else comeing along fine.I am so happy you are feeling better, not takeing those pills. The weather has been beautiful today,so glad you have been able to potter in the garden again.I had lots of probs last night trying to read journals.(Aol once again).Lots of markets have been updated around England and I personally think we all miss some part of the old!! See My Boy Rooney was sent off,but lots think they got him wound up,as they know he gets very angry LOL!! Methods in there madness shall we say.Ronaldo gave it all away when he winked at his fellow players.Wouldn't like to see the meeting at Man U.of Ronaldo and Rooney when they get home Haaaaaaaaaa.
Have a lovely weekend, now you are feeling much better.Hope the sun keeps shining for us all.

Glad you are feeling ok and your garden looks like it s coming along very nice too. That bunny sure gives barney something to do with his days doesn't it.... we have 4 little bunnies in our yard and so far the cat is the only one interested.... the dogs have let them be now and are used to them I think. I guess they are our pets but I hope we don't get any more  :(  Sandra

Happy to hear your feeling better.  That Barney seems to be quite the guard dog.  Your garden is really coming along.  I only have flowers, not even tomatoes this year.  I'm off to get some grocery shopping done.  Linda in hot, muggy Washington

i'm glad you a re feeling a bit better

I got a kick out of seeing your dog on duty!  What variety of apple do you grow?  Do you ever harvest your tomatoes when they are still green and make fried green tomatoes?  My grandmother used to make them out of her garden.  Delicious! I haven't had them since she passed away years ago but when I think about it I can almost smell them cooking.     Kathy

so glad that you are starting to feel better,  our dog Tilly (she the one like Barney), usually runs in the opposite direction to the rabbits, if she sees one she runs away from it which I must say I am quite pleased about, I dont know what I would do if ever she caught one
have a nice day take care Lynne xx

I think your wise to stop taking those tablets Ally..Hoppity isnt going to be out off easily, never mind it provides Barney with some sport another day lol .....Jan xx

I think the tablet withdrawal was a good idea and I'm glad you are feeling better. Hoppity the rabbit seems to have had quite an adventure, glad he is home safe and sound and giving Barney plenty of exercise lol!
Have a good week! (((hugs)))

I've had trouble with AOL; sometimes for example
I can't get on, but in an hour all is fixed. The width
of the window seems to have been corrected. Only
Zoe's format, that I know of, on my screen anyway,
is still very, very wide. I'm no Techie so I can't be of much
help. I can recommend telephoning AOL Tech support, and
provided the operator is in the United States they will
help, bigtime. After bellowing loudly (acting, ha!) I was
given additional protection software, downloaded, called
AD Aware. It's faster and better than AOL's virus scan
which is actually McAfee (spelling) a company too secretted
for me.

Fear from walking on egg shells prevents me from
making a joke, attempting to make a joke, about
English rural doctors. I'm hoping that merely alluding to
such will strike you as funny. (Too indirect?)

Hello, Ally ... I'm glad you were able to quit taking the medication and experience an improvement.  Hopefully, your doctor can come up with an alternative that suits you better.  I know how scary and uncomfortable it can be to have a reaction like that.  I went on Thyroid meds a few years back, and had a bad reaction.  Now the Doctor wants to try again, and I am a wee bit nervous about it.  I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens.
Hope all is well with you and yours .... enjoy your week, my friend !  xx Tina

Hiya Ally. So glad you are feeling better. What have they done to the market in Norwich. I do hope they haven't changed things too much. The stalls are one of the things that Norwich is noted for. Do take some pictures next time you are there to let me see the changes. Dan.
