Hoppity

OK I know he is just a wild creature but I have become very attached to him since he decided to make his home in our garden ~ I learnt how he came to take refuge here ~ there was a big truck coming along the lane I live in so big that any cars coming along had to back up to let it through ~ there were several little rabbits scurrying in front of it and hoppity jumped up on our front lawn and went through the gate to the back garden ~ where I am sure he has made himself a burrow where he hides when Nin and Barney are in the garden ~ I find myself looking out into the back garden and have got used to him being in the middle of the lawn first thing in the morning ~and if he is not there I keep watching until I do see him ~ there is only one thing I hope he dosn't decide to bring a mate here with him ~ I don't think I could cope with anymore wild creatures in the garden ~

And no Stuart you can't have him for a Rabbit Stew now he is nice and plump ~

Oh Beatrice Potter I've
wondered where you were
these days. Will this rabbit also
be called "Peter"?  How chagrined
you must have been when
your masterpiece was ripped
off in the Colonies. I actually saw
a version in which there
was no illustralion of Peter's blue
jacket with a button caught in the
net. Didn't those thieves know
that was the climax of the story!?

Peter is an icon!

I love bunnies!  If he did bring a friend, in no time you'd not have to worry about seeing a bunny in the middle of the yard, you'd see many, many bunnies!  We had a bunny that got out, ran away to the golf course behind us, and soon the whole course was over run with bunnies!  Very pretty rose...Jae

Hopefully he, she does not have a romantic interest in the area, otherwise you could be wall to wall bunnies in no time. I did get a little sleep, thanks again for the chat.  Linda in WA

Hope he is going to be a batchelor boy so you won't be overrun with the nice little bunnies eating all your plants.  Love Joan.

Hi Ally!

Cute Hoppy Guy!  Yes, Barney does look very interested! LOL

I went to the post office yesterday and Scott (P.O. guy) was showing everyone some little baby chicks that had been mailed in. They were just cheeping all over the place!  The recipient wasn't even in there, Scott was just excited about them. Had to show us all! LOL He said once someone mailed some little baby ducks.  He said "They were just like these with a little rounded bills and little webby feet!"  It was so funny...cause he was so excited about it!

Sorry you haven't been feeling well....as you know, I really don't like medicine....there are always so many side effects.  Regenicare is good for muscles, joints and doesn't make you sick.  Essentials has plant calcium in it, plus everything else you need!

You could just spend all your meals in your garden.  Hunting and gathering....OH! Sorry, I didn't mean Hoppy!!!

Take care!
Darlene

Well hoppity probably will bring a mate. You know those rabbits. Then you will have lots of little rabbits to watch from your window and they are so cute when they are little. Paula
