Yesterday and today

Yesterday we went for a drive to Sheringham to drop some things off at the accountants ~ didn't go right into town as it was Friday and it is always so crowded ~ so went for a drive along the Coast ~

As Tom had a free day he came with us and we ended up going to the Red Lion for Lunch again ~ it is a lovely friendly place and the food is good ~ just like home roast ~ and you can take as much as you want ~ one man in front of me filled his plate so full ~ when he turned to go to his table he lost the Yorkshire puddings from the top of his plate ~ which I felt served him right for being so greedy ~

Reading some journals yesterday I came across one that was talking about Cosmos Ordering ~ it was very interesting so thought I would try it ~ I put my order in  "To win the Euro Lottery" and as I had ordered it I went and bought a Lucky Dip ticket ~ as without one I didn't stand a chance ~ well I did win £8.40p not exactly what I had in mind but a win is a win whichever way you look at it  and maybe just maybe I shouldn't have ordered money  ~ lol ~

So today I am wondering what to buy with my Big win ~

Gambling again, huh? Well, it DID
pay off. Las Vegas next? I bought
a couple of lottery tickets lately
and the trouble was I didn't know how
to put the tickets under the red light
to see if I won. That's called 'Dumb
luck,' or, no luck. Lol. A Help-Yourself
restaurant in my town is called Sizzler.
Oh, the mountains we five gobble down.
The kids are so unruly there, we've pretty
much switched to TV Cafe a 24 hour
trucker's kinda joint. The security guard
is armed which fascinates our children.

Lol at the Yorkshire puddings, yes, serves him right.  I have been trying that Cosmic Ordering but nothing yet, I can but live in hopes, nothing to lose

I don't know what Cosmos Ordering is?    I am glad that you won on the rub off ticket.    A friend of mine plays it too much.   Playing it once in a while is a small thrill especially if you win.    I was referring to the other named flowers beside violets the previous entry.   I was not sure what they looked like and am always interested in learning new flower names.     Hope Barney stays in his yard and doesn't "jump the fence" and growl at the neighbors dog, lol .   I got some work done starting on the new addition again yesterday.    Salty watches me from his pen in the shade.    Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.     mark

Nice to that someone won something.  I keep getting a bogus scam email telling me that I've won a huge jackpot over there in England....since I never entered anything, that's quite unbelievable.  The largest I've ever won here has been $85 when Lotto first came out many years ago.  Guess we shouldn't be greedy with money or food!  Sandi http://journals.aol.com/sdoscher458/LifeIsFullOfSurprises

Hey, £8.40 is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. It'll help pay for your next lunch in the red Lion. B. x.

I think you will think of something to buy with your winnings. We have the lottery here in Texas. I have always wished I would win a nice amount sometime and be able to give a nice tip to my lawn boy, the ladies that cook at the senior center etc. Just people that have been nice to me. Also some for myself to buy something I wouldn't other wise spend the money on. Guess I don't have to worry too much about it though. A few years ago a man from John's little hometown did win a large amount and he bought his ticket here in our town. Don't you just hate it when people act like hogs like that man did when you were eating out? My deceased husband had an uncle and a cousin who at family gatherings were always first in line and filled their plates to overflowing. They had the weight to prove it too. Paula

Hi Ally, Well done for at least winning something.  I`m lucky if I can win an argument let alone some money...lol!  That man was being greedy so it served him right, I`ll bet he felt silly losing his Yorkshire pud like that...lol! :o)

Hi there! yes I tried that cosmos ordering a while back - I can't remember what I wished for now!! Isn't that what Noel Edmunds did and he got a comeback show on Channel 4? Hope you get the same luck as him, not his style though! Let us know what you spend your 'winnings' on xx

LOL, I guess you have to be more specific in the future when you set up your Ordering. "money" might have to been too broad a request. Like my case: I won the Stupid Lottery... a dollar a year for a million years. Hooray me!

Hello Ally
Cosmos Ordering ?  whats that all about then?   and congrats on your 'win' ...... now i would either have bought myself a big bar of chocolate or spent it on my Mum (a nice bunch of flowers) or maybe a cream tea or maybe eight more lottery tickets ....lol......actually you can buy quite a bit with £8........ and you still have change left over !    Hope it hasn't changed your life too much!
