Nin and Barney and other things

We let Nin and Barney up the Garden as it was such a lovely day ~ but when they came in they had both been rolling in "Heaven knows what" and had to go in the bath ~ I would have taken a before picture of them ~ but they both looked so disgusting I didn't. they certainly didn't come in smelling of Roses ~

The Collar Necked Dove sitting on the table I thought at first was unwell ~ but he eventually flew off and seemed OK ~

Surprising how much neater the garden looks after the lawn had it's first cut ~ lot more to do out there though ~

I can't resist taking pictures of rainbows  I always think they look so pretty ~ and seem to hold a promise of good things to come ~

And last but no means least is Oscar ~ he is filled with lavender and sits on the Radiators when they are on it makes the room smell just lovely ~   And must not forget my little blue KA she looks really nice with the sun shining on her ~ must get a better picture of Lyn's new car ~ I'll do that another day ~

Lovely pictures.  We had to bath our two yesterday as they were so muddy.  Alas, no chance of cutting our grass, far too wet but surprisingly this is the first time it has not grown too much during the winter so does not look too bad!  I love Oscar, where did you get him?

Lovely assortment of pictures Ally, your dog really seems to be enjoying his bath.We were oput in the garden for a little while but the ground is far to wet to cut the grass but like Jeannette says in her comment it has not grown all that much this winter... Love Joan.

I loved all your pictures.... especially bathing the dog... I have to do that too and keep putting it off... today is the day I guess. My dogs are so small but with long hair and it gets tangled in the bath... guess I will use some conditioner today and see if that works... We are having strong winds and rain today... hope the sun comes out this afternoon though. Sandra

Pics are great Ally and the little graphics are cute too.  I like the idea of Oscar...are they made for that purpose or was it your idea to use him as a room freshner?   Eve

Hi Ally!

Your little KA still looks brand new!  I love your graphic!  That's what I felt like last Friday! LOL  I helped Colton give Heidi a bath last Wednesday.  Even the next day I would get a whif of "wet dog"!  I know it wasn't me, I had had a bath, shampooed my hair and everything...at home in my own bathroom!  All in my head???? Yeah, my nose!

Take Care  Hugs

Barney seems to enjoy the bath.  Me and Barney both !
Looks like you have had some nice weather.  It won't stop raining here.  I am soooo ready for this rain to be over, so I can get to work in my yard.  I've got plenty to do out there.  Tina

Hi Ally, there`s no other smell like stinky dog...unforgettable...lol!  Collared doves are like that.  The pair that come to our garden sit around for ages without moving.  Perhaps they sit there and have a nap though not a good idea when there are cats about!  I washed my car Saturday and she`s lovely and clean now.  I see your Ka is blue like mine. :o)

I've got a lavender bag made of velvet , I put it on the radiator before putting it on my pillow at night , smells wonderful!! How long will Nin and Barney stay sweet smelling?!! My dogs used to always roll in fox droppings, ugh!!, I can still smell it now! Jeannette.

The dove is the largest I have ever seen.    Your car looks like new and it must get good gas mileage.   Lyn's SUV (sport utility vehicle)  looks huge and I like the color.    We have had some heavy rains here and I spotted a rainbow.    Tornado's killed many people in the surrounding area this past weekend.    mark

Ally, I love your little car...what does KA stand for ?  I love lavender too.  I have lavender dishwashing soap (I don't have an automatic dishwasher, just my hands), lavender laundry soap & fabirc softener, shampoo, shower gel, body & hand lotion, room & linen spray.  I spray my room each night before going to bed, hoping for a better sleep. And being a blond..I love the lavender color for blouses & tops.   I guess I'm a lavender fanatic !   Linda in Washington

Hello! Just popping in for a brief stay, as hubby has been hogging the computer lately, for his work. Believe me, I can hardly wait until Tax Season is finally over at the end of April. Enjoyed your graphics and pictures. And I can well imagine how the dogs smelled after their adventure outside. Best not be thinking what on earth they really did roll in . . . lol. Take care!

Sincerely, Rose
