Gt Yarmouth

We would spend nearly every weekend when it was sunny visiting Great Yarmouth ~ there was always so much to do ~ visit the Fun Fair ~ play on the beach ~ and all the other entertainments they have at a seaside resort ~

At this time we had a little black poodle "Lulu" who we took every where with us, walking along the sea front a young girl came walking towards us ~ eating Candy Floss ~

Well this was more than Lulu could take and as she reached us Lu pounced at the Candy taking most of it in one go ~ I felt terrible ~ but the Youngster thought it was great and gave Lu what remained on the stick ~

These days we go to the quieter resorts ~ where there is not so much going on ~ Living near the North Norfolk Coast we have plenty of choices ~ Cromer ~ Sheringham ~ Salthouse ~ we take Nin and Barney who both love to run on the Beach ~

I just like to sit and watch them ~

Went to Gt. Yarmouth last year, was really looking forward to visiting the Bygone Village......only to find it had closed!!! That used to be a wonderful day out and reasonably priced....had a lovely holiday despite it though!!

Cromer..Mmmm..fish and chips...a walk along the pier watching the children catch crabs.  Sheringham...little boutiques in the main street or have I mixed it up with someplace else?   I could just eat some fish and chips now on this dreary wet day we are having!!  Eve

Hi Ally,  I thought perhaps it WAS Great Yarmouth but I wasn`t sure.  But with you being a Norfolk lass I thought it seemed the right place to take a youngster for a holiday.  Have a lovely evening. :o)

Lulu had a sweet tooth.   The little girl was not upset which is unusual, so she must have enjoyed your dog.   Great photo.   The area's you visit along the coast must have some wonderful scenery.   mark
