letter box

Lovely bunch of flowers plus vase received from Anna (Lyn's God-daughter} thanking us for a lovely few days they stayed with us.....We should thank them for coming....-

(all the packets on the dresser under the television = are ingredients for christmas puddings - they made eight in all so we are fully stocked with puds). and now have a nice clear dresser.....lol

Picture 2 is The Big Red Letter box - how could our lady who delivers the magazine have missed it...... Ally

If that red box is where your mail is deposited, I'd say your mail carrier has vision problems like some here in the U.S.  At least once a week I find mail on the chair near my front door and then some in the mailbox.  The only thing I can come up with is...someone else occasionally gets some of my mail and they bring it over, find me not home & leave it on the chair.  The mail that's in the mail box is actually left by the carrier.  Our carrier here in the mobile park where I live, drives a van type vehicle and I don't think he'd get out, walk up my driveway and put some of my mail on the chair.  However, I must say, he will put packages (too big for the mail box) on the porch, rather than leaving me a slip that I would later have to take to the post office, where I'd have to wait in a long line to pick up. He gets a GOLD star for that.

I have been helping the carpenter that has been working on my addition to my cabin.  I meant to send you an email about what I have been up to but have not been on the computer lately.  Hope things are going well for you and the flowers are beautiful.    mark

Lovely flowers, what a nice gesture. I am impressed with your puddings done already. We have ginger sponge for Christmas, my husband hates Christmas pud, so it has to be done on the day.
