Love the ornaments Ally, Barney has a lot of sense putting himself right by the wood burner.  We used to have a basset called Rosie and one winter evening she was lying in front of the fire as usual when we smelt burning....that`s right, her fur was burning, she was fine but the smell was horrendous....! :-)

I'm glad Barney tolerates them. Ours will attack anything with eyes if it "stares" at him long enough!

We have an African living room . . .  which I NEVER thought would be the case, but I just LOVE it . . .  a (artisan's vision) elephant head with tusks.  Rhinos, zebra pillows . . .  and Jeeves the Giraffe offers everyone candy at the front door.  We think it's a lot of fun . . . we have REAL animals, too . . .  in the form of 2 Schnauzers, and then one WILD animal, an eight-lb. Maltese named Avie.  Yep.  Avie makes it FEEL like a jungle in there.  LOL.

I love the Elephant.  It is a long time since I have seen one to this scale.

By for now,
