Peacock

Thats me sitting playing on my laptop..

For the last couple of days as we were driving down our lane - crossing our path was a Peacock.  We assume he comes from the wild life park - which is just at the end of the lane - before you come to the main road.

He is just so lovely - Tall and regal - and so colourful.

Just hope he do'es not wander out onto the main road, which is busy, with traffic going to Norwich and Fakenham.

Will try and take pic of him next time we see him. If of coarse we do see him again.

Had to go for my flu injection this morning - Ouch - Seriously though, it didn't hurt at all - I was waiting for - breath held - waiting....For the pain...which didn't come - Nurse just said well thats done for another year - and was out - back in the car and back home in 20 minutes.

Have a good day -  Ally

How nice to see you at last, you should put that picture under all about me, I can tell you how to do it if you wish.  Yes, Peacocks are lovely birds although I would never have the feathers in the house, I was brought up to believe they are very unlucky. The birds do make an awful sound as well. Mike and I are very dubious about getting flu shots this year.  Despite having them, he got flu three times AFTER having it and gave it to me each time.  He said it took him months to feel right again.

You look very comfy there with your feet up. I have to work at my PC in my cramped office.

I hope the peacock survives, they look lovely but oooh, the noise ... ! If he starts that early in the mornings you may be laying trails of corn towards the main road!

Glad to hear you got a flu shot.  We get them the end of October, first of Nov.  I did get a pnemonia shot about a month ago, that's supposed to last a life time.

Peacocks are beautiful aren`t they?  Where we go in Dorset, there is a caravan park near the cottage, they have rare ducks, geese, chickens.....and a peacock.  Visitors walking to the clifftop there are often startled by the big bird flying out into the lane in front of them.  We were too when it first happened to us....lol! ;-)

Ouch. I hate shots. Please post a pic of the peacock. I'd love to see it. Have not been to a zoo in a while and spotting a peacock in Florida is impossible. Hugs to you, my friend...
