Is that what a Bull looks like Mum

Found some pictures of Nin when he was a puppy he is nearly eight years old now but still has that charming look ~

Roxy was a rescue dog ~ he was so obedient and really well behaved ~ he took to Nin the minute he saw him ~~ and they were great buddies.

Nins predessor was also a Jack Russell named Tiny he was 17 years old when he died ~  we were not going to replace him ~~

"So two weeks later we got Nin" lol.

We had to ~ as Roxy was missing his Buddy so much and was lost without him.

We took Roxy along and he chose Nin ~~ they were buddies for two years then Roxy Died.

We then did the same thing and took Nin along and he chose Barney - the Chap stood there holding 3 tiny puppies in his arms - Nin sniffed all three but Barney was his no 1choice.  By the time we got home Barney was this wet bundle of fur ~ where Nin had licked him from head to toe...and from that day on they have been like brothers.

Just slipped in this picture of Lyn ~ read the notice on the gate ~ made us smile...

Gorgeous pictures, glad my dog is still a pup otherwise I'd want another. I can't believe I get broody for dogs! And I'm definitely not showing my husband the pics  or he'd be out to get another pup straight away. He's worse than me! x

Thats a very good idea to take the dog left behind along to help pick its new companion. Cute idea. Paula

HI Ally!

Cute pictures of your puppies.  I like that ... they get to pick their new playmate.  My friend should have did that with her Sharpeis!  The older one doesn't care for the "pest"!  LOL

enjoyed the photos of Nin as a pup and Roxy the rescue dog was a great looking dog and must have had a wonderful temperment.    I can not tell if that is a pony and it has mule like ears.    Apparently the pony was not worried about the bull.    mark

Yes, we have always done the same, lost one, got another, not replacements but they leave such a terrible hole.  Because of our ages Jack will be the last one though.  Lovely pictures!

I do not know why but animals always seem to know better than we do and who could live without them.

I love to hear of dogs behaving in the way you have described them.

When I can bear to do it, for it is still a pull on my heart strings, I will continue to write about our beloved dog Ben.

Thank you for the wonderful memory jog.

By for now,

John.
