Fishing

My how photographs can bring back memories.....This was a day Match and a Sunny day as well - Otherwise I wouldn't have been fishing -

I only like Warm Sunny days - so you cannot call me a real fishing person...as a real fishing persons brave all Kinds of weather...

Can recall so clearly my catch that day...not the tiddlers but my best catch of the Season..A Bream....

The Lake we are fishing is a very short drive away from where we now live only takes 5 minutes in the car to get there...

This particular Lake is in the grounds of a Pub..

The Lake belonged to Dicks employers "A Brewery" who also owned the Pub..

and the Fishing Club were lucky enough to be able to have sole use of it...

I love seeing your photos, they must bring back lovely memories. My older boys LOVE fishing, they spend days out and thoroughly enjoy it. I just usually drop them off and wonder what the attraction is! You look like you enjoyed it though!x

Love the pun at the end there, lol. I can't believe you went to a pub and went fishing!!! I did try fishing once, it was horrible. Weather was rubbish and I swear I caught the same damn fish twice, probably because he was as bored as I was. To each his own, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it. B. x

I like to go fishing but not fish. Does that make any sense? I like to walk around an explore while someone else does the fishing but yes not in any kind of weather. A pretty sunny day. Paula

what wonderful pictures but you were wearing "white" on the one picture. Wonder if it remained white all day.... You did look great in all the pictures too.. I don't fish but those look like big fish to me and its a good thing your "hubby" had the net too. Sandra

Hey, that was a big fish you caught Ally, well done! I hate to say it though...the other llittle fish look like they have been placed on a huge cow pat.......must be an odd shaped stone.  The pics are very good and I am betting your friend Brian will do his magic on the couple that are a bit fuzzy.  Eve

(laughs ...) Yes, Althea, I now see what you wrote in your e-mail to me, about Eve's comment. -- I think she's a mind reader. [:D]

... Enjoy, honey.

What lovely photo's and memories, Ally. Fishing is quite relaxing, but agree...sunny days are the best. Great catch of the day, Ally! Like that a Pub was in walking distance...             ~Deborah
