visitors

Lyn had visitors yesterday and Barney thinks everyone who visits us come especially to see him ~ but not everyone wants a little jack russell wrapped round their shoulders ~ or one sitting on their lap which is Barneys favourite place ~ he is such a loving little boy and he does like close contact ~

So Nin and Barney were confined in the small sitting room ~ much to their distain ~ and just sat near the door until Lyn's visitors left ~

Didn't get to do much over the Holiday weekend as the weather was atrocious ~ we did go shopping for some new curtains and a roller blind for the kitchen but came away empty handed as we couldn't make our minds up which ones to buy ~ decided we would go to Aldous's in Fakenham during the week ~

Sammy went to see the Consultant that operated on him ~ and  has passed him fit ~ so he is back in training much to his delight ~ although the Season has  finished they still train ~ Jake thought his team he plays for had disbanded ~ but someone else has taken over the training ~ so he is happy about that ~ and they have the World Cup to look forward to  ~

Hope everyone had a good Memorial/Bank Holiday mine was very quiet ~

Poor wee doggy!  Good to hear Sam's back in training.  The forthcoming World Cup - that means there'll be no sensible conversation in this house 'til it's finished!!

I wouldn't mind keeping the sweet doggies company.... I suppose the visitors had their new clothes on or like my friend doesn't like dogs except from a distance... I hope those melons are delicious too and the shrub is so pretty. Hope you have a wonderful evening, Sandra

Barney looks decidedly grumpy, lol. As for the melons, that tiny one at the back must be the runt of the litter.  B. x

I can identify with Barney
some of the time. Lol.
Sammy in training: good age
to start training. Lifelong benefits
accrue. Still grateful to my mother.
(She borrowed the money from
my grandmother.) Your life
on your estate is oh so grand, ha!

Hi Ally,  I`m glad to hear that Sammy is back to full fitness again, he must be thrilled to be able to play footie again.  Poor Barney, his nose was certainly put out by being shut out outides the door, Jake`s exactly the same and he really whines too. :o)

I bet Sammy's pleased to get the go ahaed for training! Poor old Barney, fancy having to be locked away for being too friendly, i never mind friendly dogs wanting to sit with me! It's the ones who want to eat me for dinner I don't like! Have a lovely evening. Jeannette xx

Hi Ally!

I spent my holiday cleaning bathroom and doing laundry! Darrell vacummed for me tho.  :)  He's so sweet.

I know it just kills their little souls to be shut out from visitors.  And some visitors are like that....yeah they are!

Quiet days are not all bad! I like quiet days myself!

Hugs!

Hi, what awful weather, it is so cold tonight have lit the fire again, went searching for logs. We went to a funeral..so sad as she was only 59 and my friend and neighbour.
You mentioned Fakeham, that is on my birth certificate, how strange.
Hope your gardening weather returns with some sunny days again.
