How lovely was trying to think of other Althea's and two came to mind Althea Gibson the American Tennis player Althea Redfern of give us a twirl in the Generation Game with Brucie. Love Joan.
Suggestion for you - try photobucket.com - it's an easier, free alternative to aols ftp space. I'm really cack handed when it comes to photos and graphics but this site makes it foolproof!
Ok Ally, I'm posting the same comment I left for Jan.
I actually love the name Althea and in all my years on this earth, I've only known of one gal with that name. She was several years older than me, the daughter of a lady that took care of Julie for a few months when I went back to work at the phone company after Julie was born. So... now that Althea would be 68-70 years old and I've often wondered whatever happened to her. The last time I saw her was her mothers funeral back in the 1970's. I remember she was very pretty and had a sweet personality. I think it's a nice name. Linda
Hey, Ally ..... Not seeing the photos, so I cheated and read the comments posted to find out the mystery name ! Very nice name, Althea. And guess what .... my real name is not Tina, although I have been called that name since the day I was brought home from the hospital. My real name actually starts with an 'A', too. Would you like a clue ? The name sounds like an unfinished sentence .... really ! That will keep you thinking for a while ! lol Tina http://journals.aol.com/onemoretina/Ridealongwithme
