I have found my rainbow at the end of my garden

Taken yesterday afternoon during a sunny - rainy day - from my window.....at the top of the garden in the middle is a Potting Shed (New addition) to the right is the workshop - fully equiped with carpentry tools..to the left is the greenhouse out of sight behind the bushes...in the foreground is a basket ball thingy that the children love to practice getting the ball through......

Isn't that beautiful.  There is something so hopeful about a rainbow, isn't there ?  It's like God is saying that all is well.  Perhaps we could use one here in J-land ?  Take care, Tina http://journals.aol.com/onemoretina/Ridealongwithme

Hi there Ally,

At last, I have found out how to access your journal, I think I must be getting old, I love the shot of the rainbow and I have to tell you that I have never been lucky enough to photograph anythig like that yet.

By for now,

John

PS.

Thank you for the lovely comments and good wishes.

Just as an after thought, my cousin, who lives in Perth-western Australia-has just emailed me.

I am not sure if I mentioned this, in one of the journals I took of the Blog, but my son, against all the odds, graduated on the 19th of November.  We have three weeks to wait before the photos will come to us.

He is 33 years of age, a bit late to graduate, but, has it has turned out, he is more qualified than most of the people in the building he is working part time.  He teaches English and computers.  I mention this to you because he had a hard time at school and came away from school without a single qualification.  At every turn, when he went for interviews, every body questioned his age because, even in his mid 20's he used to be asked for half fares on the bus.  What some people would love to be, when the aging process 'kicks in' prevented him from finding paid employment.  Thankfully, he now looks his age and we hope that things are going, at long last, to work out for him as he hopes they should do.

As a matter of courtasey, I hope that your family, when and if they are not already at the age to follow on with higher education, go for and get everything that they wish to go for.
