nearly back to normal

It seems ages since I made an entry to my blog ~ things have been pretty busy around here ~ Tom and Cress enjoyed their few days away in Cornwall but missed the Children ~ I think during the School holidays they are so used to planning their days around the children ~ they found it hard just to plan for themselves ~ and they missed their little brood ~

Lyn came home Sunday to spend the day and brought Blue with her ~ he has aquired his name because he has one Blue eye ~  and one brown eye ~ he is a loveable little chap ~ and took over Barneys sofa and cushions and even took over the same spot to look out of the window to see what was going on in the garden ~

Jake and Sam came as well and  we all had Lunch together ~ it was lovely to have them if only for the day ~

Jake is brilliant on the computer and even made a Robot graphic for Leigh ~  they find it very easy to use the computer  and seem to be able to master almost anything   ~ I suppose having used the computer from day one at school they understand it so well ~ (and they took over both our computers)

This all took place over a week ago ~ I have been catching up on journals since we lost our alerts ~ and for the last couple of days have been reading the tributes to 9/11 ~ all  heartfelt and beautifully written ~

Back to finish reading journals hope I havn't missed any ~

I wondered if that was the reason you hadn't placed an entry Ally, for a while.I am laughing my sides sore at Blue, another fan of those cushions I havn't a chance with them have I LOL!! Blue looks real comfortable. He is so white and fluffy he is lovely.Love how he is looking thru the window like Barney does LOL!! Glad you have had some lovely company around. It makes a change doesn't it? Yes all my grandchildren are so advanced on the computer, but unfortunatly mine live too far away to show me a few things.Very nice of Jake to make Leigh the robot.Bet he was over the moon. One does miss the children I agree, when you go it alone.Take care Glad to see you back.Knowing you Ally you won't have missed any I'm sure.Loved the entry and pics.

I forgot how wonderful life can be. It doesn't have to be a series of troubles if you don't want it to be.

I apologize for my long absence, due mainly to not remembering as much. Thank you for a typical dose of optimism. I hope to again become a regular reader.

Wish I had a young person close by that knows the computer so well. I have questions from time to time and no one to ask. Paula

Blue is a fantastic looking specimen of his breed of dog.    This is nice that Tom and Cress were missing the children even though they were able to spend time enjoying their vacation.    There must be some enjoyable places to visit in Cornwall.      I have been telling people in J-land about my MRI diagnosis of having a severe Stenosis of the L4-5 lumbar spine.     It is limiting my activity on my feet and when I can no longer endure the pain I lay down on the board/cushion and read which I enjoy tremendously.     A description of the Stenosis is arthritis narrowing the spine and putting pressure on the spinal column.     The pain in my hip is severe and I am told to limit my activity by the physical therapist.     I have pool therapy tomorrow morning.     I have to get my laundry done this morning and will try to do some light work on my shingles for my cabin roof to be done this afternoon.      Salty will be in his pen enjoying all the room he has to run and dig holes in.     The pen has been really a great way for him to let go of some of his boundless energy.    When he is on the leash he is constantly pulling making it difficult for me to handle him,   lol  .     mark

I am way behind also, Ally.  Just too busy and then the 911 stuff was so sad.  Aren't children just amazing at how they can navigate computers?  Mine are older but always bailing me out of something that I mess up.  You have had a super busy week.  Relax a bit and enjoy!  xx  chris

I'm glad everyone is back safe and sound.  Sounds like you had a good visit with everyone, too.  I am so far behind on reading all the journals, too.  Oh, well, it gives us something to look forward to, doesn't it?  Glad to hear you are doing okay.
