Snowy Morning

1st Picture - our Lane

2nd My poor little frozen car.... if I talk to her nicely I hope she will start first time.

I expect most of us woke up to this view this morning...and it is still snowing quite heavily and it is now 14.50 hours... if it keeps like this we will need a tractor to get out of the lane...

The opening on the left is the driveway to our property - if you look closely you can see the name plate "Gem" ...and the Big Red letter box that no one seems to notice, because they trunch up the driveway to post letters through the door

Which drives poor Barney crazy.....Who takes guarding his property very seriously .....and he won't rest until all strangers are well away from the house....

We had a sudden heavy fall of snow when I rushed up to the hospital for Andy's morphine today but it's stopped now with more forecast tonight. Ugh! I don't blame Barney for keeping the strangers away, it's his house!! Jeannette.

No snow here way up in NE scotland...We did have some for a whole 5 mins but it is long gone...It's absolutely perishing cold though...Highland council are handing out dog biscuits to their posties to help with dogs who don't like them LOL...Very pretty all your snow but i do hope they clear it soon and that your poor wee car decides to start...Sounds like you'd be better off staying at home and not travelling anywhere though   Caff xxx

Hi Ally now snow yet up here on Tayside, but boy were our roads bad this morning we must have had a shower of snow or rain early morning and it froze solid and the roads were like skating rinks.  Hope you don't get snowed in Love Joan.

Jealous of the snow Ally (I may regret saying that :) )  smiling at Barney, I expect he snorts and sneezes at the posty too, at least people know he's around and on guard. Rache xx

Wish it was snowing here.  Long gone and the sky is bright and clear with stars so none looks likely.

No snow here...it's 46 degrees and sunny.  But it did rain very hard during the night..it woke me up. Hopefully, you don't have to go out today, Ally.  If you do, take care.  Linda

I couldn't read GEM on the red mail box.    I have seen on the news the problems that snow has created in Europe.    mark
