The Hornets nest had been build in a Blue Tits nesting box that we have on the workshop wall~ They are huge but we have been told unless we interfer with their nest they won't harm us ~
Russel took my computer to pieces and told me the new parts I needed ~ but when he put it back together it came on line and was working beautifully ~ I do have a new Key Board which is a present from Lyn ~ so I am back on line ~ (Thank Goodness )

The grapes look delicious and I hope the wine works out well. I have learned that in the U.S. cider was the big attraction made from apples. There were a sour variety of apple trees and eating apples was not done as today. During prohibition, Temperance groups sought to rid the country of these apple trees. In modern times the apple trees were sought for sweetness to enjoy eating, and 'An apple a day, keeps the doctor away'. I like to look of the natural wood on the side of the work building. mark/salty

Just stopping by to thank you for your Thanksgiving wishes today. I was a little confused though as you mentioned Dad and Mary too. I'm not related to them at all and only met them through our aol journals. None the less I do appreciate your comments on my blog. I hope all is well at your house.

Hello Ally
Just stopping in to see if anything new posted. I hope you got my email wishing you a Happy Birthday. Salty and I were just outside in below 16 degree F weather with him on his leash and me cutting firewood with my little hand saw. There are so many trees down on my property that I continue cutting every chance I get without getting out the chain saw. Salty just walks along checking all the scents out. Getting out of the cabin is important as staying in can be monotonous. best wishes on the New Year. mark/salty

I like your Blog. I write a Christian based Blog: TOM'S JOURNAL, and try to share the Gospel with others in these harsh days. I also like to chat, visit, email and learn about other people's thoughts and ideas, and I love their comments on my humble Journal.
My wife, Sharon, is dying from COPD, heart disease, etc., and there is not much more the 'doctors' can do... so we pray a lot and study the Bible.
Have a great day.
