another update

Lyn has an appointment to see the consultant in December ~ and hopefully won't have to wait too long after that ~ We can only wait and hope

At least she isn't in constant pain and has some pethidine the Doctor gave her just in case she needs them

I cannot resist the Cocolate Factory and have lots of goodies if anyone calls this Halloween~ last year we only had one little visitor and he went away laden with goodies

Isn't "Pudding Pie Alley" a lovely name for a little tucked away passageway  ~

I'm glad Lin is being treated soon, I hope she doesn't need the pethidine but it's nice to have it just in case. I love the name Pudding Pie Alley, wonder what the origin of it was? Looks like your visitors are going to be laden with goodies again! The pics are lovely. Jeannette xx

Hi Ally, You are so well fprepared for Halloween, I`m a grouch and don`t open the door. Well actually we don`t get children just teenagers who are more interested in money than sweets. :o(  I hope Lyn gets treated very soon and doesn`t need to take pethidine.

Love Sandra xxxx

Your amiable, quietly elegant countryside
life is a marvel of restraint and good order.
I envy you. It would seem that by contrast
I've lifelong courted melodrama, ha! We
decided to not picket, or argue, but simply step
aside this Halloween on the grounds we don't
know what it's about! Perhaps some distortion
of All Saints?  The family next door
has erected a black and green monster on his veranda,
someone to greet 'visitors' this evening apparently.
I took a few snaps of artist and model. I think he's
actually a waiter.

I bet you get some 'beauts' tonight. Photos I mean.

Happy Halloween, love your graphic.  Hope Lyn is feeling better soon by the way that is my daughter's middle name, you don't see it spelled like that very often.

Ally
I love the assortment you have purchased for trick or treat visitors!  So sorry that Lyn has to wait until December to be seen, but at least she has the meds for the pain.  We are having a good bit of trick or treaters here.  I've had to jump up three time to answer the door just while I have been typing this comment.  Take care, and let Lyn know she has a lot of sympathy!

Mmmmm ........ chocolate is my favorite !  Did you have many little ghosts and goblins this year?  Lots of kids showed up at my door, which was a nice change from years past.
Keeping Lyn in my prayers, that she feels okay, and doesnt have too much longer to have to deal with this.  Not fun to have to wait and wonder.
Take care, my friend.   xx  Tina

Hi Ally,   I'm playing catch-up here today....Great pictures...grapes~wow !  Those would be fun to grow.  Wow, I can't believe they are waiting so long when she has a gallbladder full of stones.  Hopefully she won't have another attack !  Linda in Washington state

Wow, Ally, that seems a long time to wait for gall stones to be removed.  Here in the states, they do it as outpatient surgery.  My son had his gall bladder removed a couple of years ago.  They sent him home two hrs. later.  I think that is outrageous.  Hope Lyn hangs in there.  LOL...love Pudding Pie Alley.  I would love to live on that passageway.  Love xx Chris
