Visited my Sister Joy on Saturday but before I went there I took a ride into Norwich ~ my favourite City this is where I grew up ~ the Market place was just at the end of Bethel street where I lived until I got married ~
Joy and me used to go through the Market everyday on our way to work and Roger the little dog we had at the time would follow us ~ we used to hide among the stalls till we thought it was safe to go on our way ~ we honestly thought we had lost him ~
But usually when we arrived at work Roger would be close behind us and one of us had to take him home ~ we should have thought to do that in the first place ~ but when you are young we just never thought ~
I seem to be having problems with this entry so will save and hope you can read it You know what AOHell is like seems to be playing me up at the moment ~

Hi Ally hope you are well, I don't live that far from Norwich well one hour away I heard good things about especially nice shops and the cathedral. glad you enjoyed your trip down memory lane.

All that was missing here for me today was a cup of tea, some cookies, and your company. So nice to read you again. I hope you enjoyed your trip, and your visit with your sister. Norwich is another place I can add to my "map" of places I've seen!
Enjoy your evening!

Norwich sounds a lovely place to have grown up in. The Guildhall has a fantastic architecture. How old is the structure! Also, how old is St. Peter's Mancroft? I enjoyed the lion's in front of the City Hall Building. You have some wonderful memories to visit each time you enter Norwich. It must be a small easy going town as the dog is standing in the road apparently able to roam thru traffic. The Argentine Gaucho's does conjure up the frontier of old though it was of the modern day Gaucho's in 1979 that I made the pen and ink drawing of. mark
LOL...I got you loud and clear....and glad I did....we just got home from our "Texas" week end....had a great time....hugs from KY...Ora
I am sure you knew how much I would love your pictures. Only three and a bit weeks to go before we come down your way really looking forward to it. Did you see the program on Sheringham last night on BBC about the fight about a new supermarket? Would hate to see the High Street there being spoiled it is unique and sure you love it too the way it is. LOve Joan.

Norwich looks nice. That is my next place for a visit as I do not know Norfolk or Suffolk. I went to Ipswich and Stowmarket once and loved all the little pink houses with thatched roofs. Love Conniex

These are great pictures of Norwich. This looks like such a nice town to have lived in. I would love to spend a lazy day exploring all the stalls in the market and having a quaff at the local pup.
